This handbook is for you, an intern at LiveWires Digital Solutions (LWDS). It explains how your internship starts, runs and ends: who you work with, how you get tasks, how you report your work, how you are evaluated, and how you earn your certificate.

The internship is a learning experience with measurable progress. Your path is Learn → Apply → Improve → Contribute. You are expected to take responsibility for your own learning, and you will get guidance, review and feedback along the way.

The four internship SOPs sit behind this handbook. Each one is rewritten here from an intern's point of view, so you can open the one you need.

2Domains

You are placed in one domain and, where relevant, one specialization. Your mentor chooses your tasks for that domain.

3Who can join

Any candidate with foundational knowledge in an open domain, a willingness to learn and the availability to complete the internship can apply. The exact criteria for each opening are published in the internship call.

What an opening states: role, domain, number of positions, duration, work mode, working schedule, expected joining date, eligibility, required skills, preferred skills and responsibilities.

What is expected of applicants:

• Relevant educational background or self-learned skills for the chosen domain. The internship is open to current students, recent graduates and self-learners, and no fixed degree is required.
• Foundational knowledge of the domain at intern level. Professional-level expertise is not expected unless the role requires it.
• Practical exposure, such as projects, a portfolio or hands-on practice.
• Initiative and learning potential.
• Availability for the full internship period and working schedule.
• Comfort with the stated work mode and location.

Being eligible to apply is not the same as being eligible for the certificate. Certificate requirements are in section 14.

4How you are selected

You are selected through screening, interview rounds and a scored decision. Every stage is recorded before you move to the next.

The stages

1. You apply through the official LWDS recruitment channel.
2. Your application is screened and marked Shortlisted, Waitlisted or Not Shortlisted.
3. Round 1: HR / initial screening.
4. Round 2: domain / technical interview.
5. You are scored and the decision is recorded: Selected, Waitlisted or Not Selected.
6. If you are selected, you receive the Internship Offer Letter.

What screening looks at

The interview rounds

Questions are at intern level and move from fundamentals to understanding to application.

How you are scored

Each area is rated 1 to 5: 5 Excellent, 4 Good, 3 Satisfactory, 2 Weak, 1 Poor. A score of 80 to 100 is Strongly Recommended, 70 to 79 Recommended, 60 to 69 Consider / Waitlist, and below 60 Not Recommended.

How you are treated. Interviewers review your resume beforehand, ask relevant questions, give you time to answer, evaluate consistently and keep your information confidential. They do not ask unnecessary personal questions, intimidate you, make unauthorized promises or choose on personal preference.

5How your internship begins

Your internship begins when you accept the Internship Offer Letter and complete onboarding. Each step is finished before the next starts.

Offer and pre-joining

1. The selection is confirmed with you.
2. The terms are verified: role, domain, duration, work mode, schedule and joining date.
3. You receive the Internship Offer Letter. It fixes your individual terms.
4. You accept it and complete the pre-joining formalities.
5. Your joining date is confirmed and you move to onboarding.

Onboarding and orientation. On joining, you are introduced to:

• LiveWires Digital Solutions and the internship objectives.
• Your role, responsibilities and mentor.
• The reporting structure and Slack, the only communication channel.
• Working arrangements and attendance expectations.
• The task workflow, how to use Sprintly (section 9) and how to write the daily log (section 10).
• The evaluation process, professional standards and confidentiality requirements.

Your accounts. At onboarding the Internship Coordinator creates your Sprintly access, adds you to the LWDS Slack workspace and your channels, and issues any approved company resources. Your credentials are personal. Never share them.

Training before tasks. After orientation you go through Foundation (tools, concepts, basic processes) and Guided Practice with your mentor. Your mentor then checks that you are ready: can you understand requirements, use the tools, complete basic tasks, communicate blockers, follow instructions, submit work correctly and respond to feedback? Only then does regular task and project work begin.

6Your one month

Tenure. The standard internship is one month. LWDS may extend it later, case by case, and will confirm any extension to you in writing before the month ends. Your working days, hours, work mode and location are in your Offer Letter.

Unpaid. The internship is unpaid. No stipend or salary is paid, and your Offer Letter says so.

Readiness, not days. You move up task levels when you show you are ready, not because time has passed.

Attendance and punctuality. You should:

• Log in or report at the agreed time.
• Attend scheduled training sessions, meetings and reviews.
• Stay available during agreed working hours.
• Tell your reporting person about any absence or delay.

Repeated unexplained absence, habitual lateness or long periods of being unavailable can lower your evaluation and put your completion at risk.

Leave. Ask for planned leave in advance wherever possible. Give the dates, the reason, your expected return date and any impact on your assigned work. Report unexpected or emergency absence as soon as you can. Approval follows LWDS procedures.

Changes. Any significant change to your working arrangement is communicated on Slack.

7The people you work with

Working alone or in a team. Depending on the task, your mentor may assign it to you individually or to a team of interns. Your mentor tells you which when the task is assigned. On a team task, you do your part, stay in step with your teammates and update your own tasks in Sprintly every day. Your mentor still reviews the work and gives you feedback.

Slack is how you communicate. All internship communication happens on Slack: with your mentor, your team, the Coordinator and for announcements. It is the only communication medium. Use the right channel for each kind of message and keep it professional. Tasks and their status stay in Sprintly.

How to work with them. Make a reasonable attempt to solve a problem before asking for help. Then tell them about the blocker early on Slack, and apply the guidance you get.

8Your training and tasks

You grow through four task levels, and your mentor moves you up when you show readiness. Your path is Orient → Learn → Practice → Execute → Review → Improve → Contribute → Complete.

Task levels

You may start at a higher or lower level depending on what you can already do. You do not have to finish every level. Where time and performance allow, you may get a final capstone task, such as a project, a module, a campaign or a case study, which your mentor reviews.

Task priority

How your tasks are chosen. Your mentor chooses and adapts tasks for you based on your skill, previous tasks, learning goals, available time and project needs. Some tasks you do on your own and some you do in a team with other interns. Your mentor tells you which when the task is assigned.

What every task tells you: Task ID, title, domain and role, level, priority, who it is assigned to and by, assigned date, deadline, reviewer, objective, description, requirements, deliverables, references and success criteria.

How a task flows

1. You and your mentor identify what you need to learn or deliver.
2. A task is selected or created.
3. The level is set for your current ability.
4. The task is defined: objective, requirements, deliverables, priority, deadline.
5. It is assigned to you in Sprintly.
6. You confirm you understand the requirement and the deliverable.
7. You work on it and report progress.
8. You self-review and submit.
9. The reviewer reviews and gives feedback.
10. You revise and resubmit if changes are requested.
11. The reviewer approves and the task is closed.

Self-review before you submit. Check that requirements and deliverables are complete, files are named correctly, links work, obvious errors are fixed, your work is organized and documented, and your output is tested where applicable.

Review and feedback. The reviewer checks requirement completion, accuracy, quality, domain correctness, completeness, presentation, documentation, attention to detail and whether you followed instructions. Feedback tells you what is correct, what needs improvement and what to change. Revisions are part of learning.

Project tasks. Once you are ready, tasks come from approved project requirements and state the project name, objective, scope, dependencies, deadline, reviewer and deliverable. You work only within your authorized scope. Do not commit to client dates, pricing, scope changes, commercial terms or contracts unless LWDS authorizes it.

9Tracking your work in Sprintly

Sprintly is LWDS's built-in tool for managing tasks and work items. It is the record of all your internship work. You update your tasks in Sprintly, and the admin tracks your progress from those updates. A task you have not updated in Sprintly counts as not progressed.

Your daily duty. Every team member has Sprintly access. Update every task you work on, every working day.

How it works

1. Your mentor or project lead creates and assigns the task in Sprintly.
2. You confirm you understand it and update the status as work moves.
3. You attach or link your deliverable and submit it for review.
4. The reviewer approves it or requests changes in Sprintly.
5. The admin and Coordinator watch progress across interns, tasks and deadlines.

Task statuses

What the admin can see: the status of every task by intern, domain and priority, deadlines and overdue tasks, tasks stuck in review, blocked tasks and how long they have been blocked, your task level and completion history, and your daily log entries linked to tasks.

Your rules

• Update every task you work on every working day, including the status change when work starts, when it is blocked and when it is submitted.
• When you are blocked, set the status to Blocked and add a blocker report: task name, problem, expected result, actual result, steps tried, error messages and a screenshot where useful.
• If you expect a delay, tell your mentor before the deadline. Repeated missed deadlines without communication count as a performance concern.
• A task closes only after the reviewer approves it, review comments are addressed, documentation is complete and the status is updated.

10Your daily log

You send a daily log of the work you did, and your mentor reviews your logs through the week. The log is due by 9:00 PM on every working day. If the time ever changes, your mentor decides.

What a log entry contains

Rules

• Send the log on Slack at the end of each working day, by 9:00 PM.
• Be specific. "Built login form with validation" is useful; "worked on frontend" is not.
• Keep the log consistent with Sprintly. A task shown as Submitted in your log must be Submitted in Sprintly.
• Raise blockers in the log and in Sprintly on the same day.
• Use clear, respectful language and the right channel for each type of message.

Weekly review. Your mentor or the Coordinator reviews your logs and Sprintly progress each week, gives feedback and decides whether you are ready for the next task level. Missing or low-quality logs count under Communication & Professionalism in your evaluation.

11Conduct, confidentiality, assets and AI tools

Professional conduct. Treat colleagues, mentors, clients and other stakeholders respectfully. Follow reasonable workplace instructions, take responsibility for your work, meet deadlines and commitments, and keep company channels professional. Avoid behaviour that could harm LWDS, its clients or its teams. Unprofessional conduct can lead to corrective action under LWDS procedures.

Confidentiality and security. You may see confidential information belonging to LWDS, its clients and partners. You must:

• Use information only for authorized work.
• Protect company and project files, usernames, passwords and access details.
• Not share confidential information with unauthorized people or publish it on public platforms.
• Report suspected unauthorized access, disclosure or security incidents immediately.

Confidentiality continues after the internship where your internship terms and related agreements say so.

Company assets. Email accounts, software, project platforms, development environments, design tools, documentation systems, devices, project files and credentials are for authorized purposes only. Do not share credentials, give anyone unauthorized access, install prohibited software, modify production systems without authorization or use resources for unapproved purposes. Access can be changed or withdrawn as projects require or when your internship ends.

AI tools. Where LWDS permits, you may use approved AI tools for learning, research, brainstorming, documentation and coding assistance. You remain responsible for understanding and checking anything AI-assisted that you submit. Never enter confidential company, client or credential information into unauthorized AI services, and follow any project-specific AI restrictions or disclosure rules.

Your authorized scope. Work only within the scope you are authorized for. Do not make commitments on client delivery dates, pricing, commercial terms, scope changes or contracts without specific authorization.

12How you are evaluated

You are evaluated continuously, on observed work and documented evidence from Sprintly, your daily logs, reviews and mentor feedback. The weights may be adjusted for the nature of your role.

Ratings

Feedback. You get feedback throughout, not only at the end. It covers what you do well, what needs improvement, the action required, the standard expected and when improvement should show.

If there is a concern. Concerns include repeated missed deadlines without communication, poor attendance, unexplained non-availability, repeated low-quality work, not following instructions or not improving after feedback, and unprofessional behaviour. The approach is Identify → Discuss → Guide → Set improvement expectation → Monitor → Escalate. Serious confidentiality, security or disciplinary matters are escalated immediately.

13How your internship ends

Your internship ends with a final evaluation, a recorded completion status and an exit process. The authorized LWDS representative confirms your final status.

You complete the internship successfully when:

• You have completed the required internship duration.
• You have met the required attendance.
• Your assigned responsibilities and any project or task work are complete.
• You attended the required training.
• Your final evaluation is satisfactory.
• You maintained professional conduct.
• Your required documentation is complete.
• Company resources are cleared.

Your final evaluation looks at overall task performance, learning and skill development, quality, attendance, communication, conduct, project participation, initiative and mentor feedback, using the weights in section 12.

Your exit checklist

1. Complete pending tasks or hand them over properly.
2. Update all your task records in Sprintly and submit the required documentation.
3. Transfer relevant project files.
4. Return company assets and stop using or hand over access as instructed.
5. Complete your final evaluation and, where required, a final review with your mentor.
6. Complete clearance and exit formalities.
7. The Internship Coordinator confirms your exit formalities and records your final status.

Completion is decided on readiness and evidence, not on time served alone. If you do not meet the criteria, you do not receive the completion status, and certificate eligibility follows from that status.

14Your certificate

If you complete the internship successfully, you are eligible for an LWDS Internship Certificate, issued free of charge. It is issued only after the authorized LWDS representative has reviewed and approved your final status.

You are eligible when you have:

• Completed the full internship period.
• Met the required attendance.
• Performed satisfactorily in the final evaluation.
• Completed your assigned responsibilities and training participation.
• Kept professional conduct throughout.
• Completed exit formalities, including handover and clearance.

If you leave early, fall short of the attendance or performance requirements, or have an unresolved conduct or clearance matter, you are not eligible for the certificate. On request, LWDS may issue a participation letter that confirms your role and the period you served.

No fee. The certificate is free. You do not pay anything to receive it.

How you get it

1. The Coordinator records your approved completion status and confirms your eligibility.
2. You are notified.
3. The Coordinator issues your certificate with a unique certificate ID.
4. You download the certificate as a PDF from a secure link sent to your registered email.
5. Anyone can verify it by quoting the certificate ID to LWDS.
6. Your certificate record is stored with your file.

What it shows: your name, role and domain, the internship period, the issue date, the certificate ID and the signature of the authorized LWDS representative.

15Your checklist and related documents

Every working day

• Update every task you worked on in Sprintly.
• Raise any blocker in Sprintly and in your log.
• Send your daily log by 9:00 PM.

Before you submit a task

• Requirements and deliverables are complete.
• Files are named correctly and links work.
• Work is organized, documented and tested.

At the end of your month

• Pending tasks done or handed over.
• Sprintly records updated and documents submitted.
• Project files transferred and assets returned.
• Final evaluation and final review done.

1What this SOP is for you

The Internship Operations SOP sets the framework for every internship at LiveWires Digital Solutions (LWDS): the lifecycle, who does what, and the standards that apply to you from your first day to your last. It applies whatever your role, domain, duration, work mode, location, project or batch.

The aim is that every internship is structured, professional, consistent and accountable. Detailed rules for selection, tasks, training, evaluation and completion are in the other documents.

2What the internship is for

The program gives you practical exposure while you build the knowledge, skills and professional habits the workplace needs. It helps you to:

• Apply academic, technical, creative, analytical or self-learned knowledge in practical situations.
• Gain exposure to professional workflows and organizational processes.
• Develop skills relevant to your internship role.
• Improve communication, collaboration, documentation and problem-solving.
• Work with deadlines, reviews, feedback and quality expectations.
• Build accountability, discipline and professional responsibility.
• Progress from guided learning toward independence and real contribution.

The internship is a learning and development experience. You should have chances to show measurable progress.

3Your lifecycle

Your internship follows this path:

4The program in phases

4.1 Recruitment & Selection

You are screened, interviewed and selected based on the opening's requirements.

4.2 Offer & Pre-Onboarding

You receive the Internship Offer Letter and complete the pre-joining formalities.

4.3 Onboarding

You are introduced to LWDS, the internship structure, reporting relationships, communication channels, working expectations and your role's requirements.

4.4 Training & Development

You go through orientation, foundational learning, guided practice and a readiness check.

4.5 Task & Project Assignment

You receive structured tasks based on your role, ability, learning progress and project needs.

4.6 Performance Monitoring

Your progress is monitored through task reviews, mentor feedback, attendance, learning progress and other evaluation methods.

4.7 Completion & Exit

You complete the evaluation, handover, clearance and exit requirements.

5Who does what around you

HR / Internship Coordinator runs the program administratively: requirements and recruitment, intern records, selection and offers, onboarding, communication channels, attendance and administrative matters, coordination with mentors and project leads, performance reviews, and completion and certification records.

Mentor / Trainer supports your learning: role-specific guidance, training and practice, explaining expectations, reviewing your work, constructive feedback, monitoring learning, spotting skill gaps and recommending more responsibility when you are ready. Mentors escalate significant concerns through the appropriate channel.

Project Lead / Team Lead coordinates project work given to interns: project context, approved project work, priorities and timelines, progress, review of deliverables, dependencies, and confirming your project readiness with your mentor.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for contributing actively to your own learning and professional development. You should:

• Attend the internship regularly and punctually.
• Take part in required training and meetings.
• Complete assigned responsibilities within agreed timelines.
• Understand requirements before you begin work.
• Ask for clarification when requirements are unclear.
• Communicate blockers and delays at the earliest reasonable opportunity.
• Follow company and project procedures.
• Keep your communication and conduct professional.
• Protect confidential information.
• Keep your work and documentation organized.
• Receive and apply feedback.
• Keep learning and improving.

6Working arrangement

Your duration, working days, working hours, work mode and location are communicated in your Internship Offer Letter or other official internship communication. You are expected to stay available during the agreed working period and take part in scheduled activities. Significant changes are communicated on Slack.

7Attendance & punctuality

Regular attendance and punctuality are expected throughout. You should:

• Report or log in at the agreed time.
• Attend scheduled training sessions, meetings and reviews.
• Stay available during agreed working hours.
• Inform the appropriate reporting person about any absence or delay.
• Take part consistently throughout the internship.

Repeated unexplained absence, habitual lateness or prolonged non-availability may affect your performance evaluation and your completion.

8Leave & absence

If you need planned leave, tell your reporting person or the Internship Coordinator in advance wherever reasonably possible. Your request should give:

• The date or dates of leave
• The reason for absence
• Your expected return date
• Any impact on your assigned responsibilities

Report unexpected or emergency absence at the earliest possible opportunity. Approval follows LWDS procedures and internship requirements.

9Communication & reporting

You are expected to communicate professionally and on time. Slack is the only communication medium for the internship. Your mentor, your team and the Coordinator all communicate with you there. Tasks and their status are tracked in Sprintly.

You should:

• Read and follow official announcements on Slack.
• Use clear and respectful language.
• Respond to work-related communication within the expected working period.
• Use the right channel for each type of communication.
• Give enough context when you report questions, issues or blockers.

You may be required to give daily or weekly progress updates. At LWDS this means updating Sprintly and sending your daily log every working day.

10Professional conduct

You must:

• Treat colleagues, mentors, clients and other stakeholders respectfully.
• Follow reasonable workplace instructions.
• Communicate professionally.
• Take responsibility for your assigned work.
• Respect deadlines and commitments.
• Behave appropriately in company communication channels.
• Avoid behaviour that may negatively affect LWDS, its clients or its teams.

Unprofessional conduct may lead to corrective action under LWDS procedures.

11Confidentiality & information security

During the internship you may get access to confidential information belonging to LWDS, its clients, partners or other stakeholders. You must:

• Keep confidential information secure.
• Use information only for authorized work.
• Protect company and project files.
• Protect usernames, passwords, credentials and access information.
• Not share confidential information with unauthorized persons.
• Not publish confidential project information on public platforms.
• Report suspected unauthorized access, disclosure or security incidents immediately.

Confidentiality obligations continue after the internship where your internship terms and related agreements say so.

12Company assets & resources

Company resources are for authorized purposes only. They may include email accounts, software, project platforms, development environments, design tools, documentation systems, devices, project files, credentials and other company resources.

You must not:

• Share credentials.
• Provide unauthorized access.
• Install or use unauthorized software where prohibited.
• Modify production systems without authorization.
• Use company resources for unauthorized purposes.

Access may be modified or withdrawn based on project requirements or at the end of your internship.

13Use of AI tools

Where LWDS permits, you may use approved AI tools for learning, research, brainstorming, documentation, coding assistance or other authorized activities. You remain responsible for understanding and checking any AI-assisted output you submit.

You must not enter confidential company, client, credential or other restricted information into unauthorized AI services. Follow any project-specific restrictions or disclosure requirements about AI use.

14Project participation

You may be assigned to internal projects, training projects, practice projects or approved client-related work. Participation depends on business requirements, your readiness, and your mentor's or project lead's approval. You work only within your authorized scope.

Without specific authorization, you must not independently commit to client delivery dates, pricing, commercial terms, scope changes, contractual commitments or other business decisions.

15Performance & development

Your performance is monitored throughout the internship to track your learning, identify strengths and areas for improvement, give timely feedback, decide when you are ready for more responsibility, and support your successful completion. Evaluation criteria are in the Training & Completion SOP.

16Internship completion

An internship may be considered successfully completed when the applicable requirements are fulfilled. This may include:

• The required internship duration
• Attendance requirements
• Training participation
• Assigned responsibilities
• Performance evaluation
• Professional conduct
• Required documentation
• Project or task completion
• Company resource clearance

The authorized LWDS representative confirms your final completion status.

17Certification

If you complete the internship successfully and fulfil the requirements, you may receive an Internship Certificate. It is issued after the completion and evaluation process set by LWDS. Additional internship-related documents may be issued where applicable and approved by LWDS.

18Exit & offboarding

At the end of the internship you may be required to:

• Complete pending responsibilities or hand them over properly.
• Submit required documentation.
• Transfer relevant project files.
• Update your task records.
• Return or stop using company resources.
• Complete final evaluation requirements.
• Take part in an exit or final review where applicable.
• Complete any required clearance or exit formalities.

The Internship Coordinator or authorized representative confirms your final internship status.

19Records kept about you

LWDS keeps internship records for administrative and operational purposes: your joining information, Internship Offer Letter, attendance, task records, training records, mentor feedback, performance evaluations, completion records, certificate records, and exit or clearance records. Access is limited to authorized personnel.

20Final principle

The internship should give you a structured environment to Learn → Apply → Improve → Contribute. You should understand your responsibilities, get appropriate guidance, be treated professionally, and have a clear path from joining to successful completion.

1What this SOP is for you

The Interview & Selection SOP explains how LWDS screens, interviews, assesses and selects interns. It is designed to find candidates based on suitability for the role, foundational knowledge, learning attitude, communication, problem-solving ability, professionalism and availability. Knowing it helps you understand how you were assessed, and what to expect at each stage.

2What LWDS looks for

LWDS is not looking for someone who already knows everything. It looks for candidates who show Capability + Learning Potential + Professionalism + Role Fit, with the foundation, attitude and potential to learn and contribute during the internship.

3What every opening states

Before an opening is published, the Internship Coordinator defines the role, domain, number of positions, duration, work mode, working schedule, expected joining date, eligibility, required skills, preferred skills, primary responsibilities and selection stages. The internship call tells you the company, role, domain, overview, eligibility, required skills, responsibilities, duration, work mode, working schedule, application method and selection process. Applications go through the official LWDS recruitment channel.

4Application screening

Applications are reviewed on:

5The interview flow

The standard flow is:

The interviewer reviews your resume and relevant work beforehand. Typical questions:

• Tell us about yourself.
• Why are you interested in this internship?
• Why did you choose this domain?
• What are you currently learning?
• Tell us about a project you have worked on.
• What did you personally contribute to that project?
• What do you do when you are stuck?
• How do you learn something unfamiliar?
• How do you handle feedback or mistakes?
• What is your availability during the internship?

The interviewer may ask more questions relevant to your background and role.

6The two rounds

6.1 Round 1: HR / Initial Screening

With: HR / Internship Coordinator. Time: 10 to 15 minutes. This round looks at your background, communication, internship interest, availability and commitment, basic professional behaviour and general suitability.

Typical questions: tell us about yourself; what are you studying or working on; why this internship and domain; what do you expect to learn; what is your availability; are you comfortable with the stated working arrangement?

Outcome: Proceed / Hold / Not Proceed

6.2 Round 2: Domain / Technical Interview

With: Technical Mentor / Domain Lead. Time: 20 to 30 minutes. This round looks at domain fundamentals, practical understanding, project knowledge, problem-solving, learning attitude and your ability to explain concepts.

Questions move from Fundamentals → Understanding → Application. The interviewer focuses on intern-level knowledge and does not expect professional expertise unless the role needs it.

Typical questions: tell us about a project; what was your role; what did you personally contribute; what tools did you use; what was the hardest part and how did you solve it; what would you improve; how do you approach learning a new tool; what do you do when stuck?

Outcome: Proceed / Hold / Not Proceed

7How you are scored

8The decision

The final decision considers Application Screening + Interview + Availability + Role Requirement.

The decision is recorded by the authorized Internship Coordinator or selection team. Your status is Selected (you proceed to the Internship Offer Letter), Waitlisted (you stay under consideration based on availability or further review) or Not Selected (the application is closed for the current opening).

9Status updates and your offer

10How interviewers must treat you

Interviewers review your profile first, ask relevant questions, give you enough time to respond, evaluate fairly and consistently, record important observations, keep your information confidential and represent LWDS professionally.

They must not ask unnecessary personal questions, intimidate or humiliate you, make unauthorized promises, select based on personal preference, or share your information outside authorized channels.

11Records kept

LWDS keeps your application, resume, screening decision, interview scorecard, final recommendation, selection status, Offer Letter and acceptance. They are accessible only to authorized personnel.

1What this SOP is for you

The Task Assignment SOP explains how your internship tasks are assigned, managed, reviewed and closed. It makes sure you receive work that is relevant to your role, appropriate to your current skill level, clearly defined, reasonable in scope, progressively challenging, and measurable and reviewable. The goal is to move you from foundational learning to guided practice, independent work and, where appropriate, project contribution.

2What good tasks look like

• Relevance. Tasks relate to your role, learning objectives or approved project responsibilities.
• Progressive difficulty. Difficulty rises as you show readiness and improvement.
• Clear expectations. You understand exactly what is required before you begin.
• Practical learning. Tasks make you apply knowledge through real work.
• Reasonable scope. Tasks fit your experience and available working time.
• Accountability. You communicate progress, blockers and possible delays.
• Review and feedback. Tasks are reviewed so you can learn and improve.

3Your role in the task process

You are responsible for:

• Understanding the assigned task.
• Completing it within the agreed timeline.
• Asking for clarification when required.
• Communicating blockers promptly.
• Doing a self-review before submission.
• Submitting complete deliverables.
• Addressing review comments.
• Keeping the required documentation.

Your mentor selects appropriate tasks, explains requirements, sets reasonable deadlines, gives guidance, reviews your work, gives constructive feedback and adjusts difficulty based on your progress. A project lead may assign approved project tasks, define priorities, give project context, review deliverables and coordinate dependencies. The Internship Coordinator maintains the process, supports mentors, keeps task records, monitors overall progress and makes sure you receive appropriate work.

4Task levels

Tasks generally fall into one of four levels.

Level 1: Foundation

Builds familiarity with tools, concepts, processes and basic execution. Supervision: High. Examples: tool setup, basic exercises, research, simple recreations, basic documentation.

Level 2: Guided

Helps you apply knowledge with mentor support. Supervision: Moderate. Examples: small components, guided designs, basic testing, small research assignments, structured marketing activities.

Level 3: Independent

For clearly defined work you can complete with limited supervision. Supervision: Low to Moderate. Examples: functional modules, complete design screens, SEO analysis, test plans, campaign concepts, business research.

Level 4: Project

For approved project-related work once you show enough readiness. Supervision: Review-Based. Examples: project modules, feature implementation, approved client deliverables, campaign execution, end-to-end project components.

The standard path is:

1. Identify requirement. Your mentor or project lead identifies a learning or project need.
2. Select task. Your mentor selects or creates a task for the need.
3. Determine difficulty. The level matches your current ability.
4. Define task. The objective, requirements, deliverables, priority and deadline are prepared.
5. Assign. The task is sent through the approved task management or communication channel, which is Sprintly.
6. Confirm understanding. You confirm that you understand the requirements and the expected deliverable.
7. Execute. You work on the task and report progress where required.
8. Review. You submit, and the assigned reviewer reviews your work.
9. Revise. You make any required changes.
10. Close. The task is approved and marked completed.

8Submitting and self-review

Before you submit, check that:

• Requirements are completed.
• Deliverables are complete.
• Files are correctly named.
• Links work.
• Obvious errors are corrected.
• Your work is properly organized.
• Required documentation is included.
• Your output is tested or verified where applicable.

Depending on your role, a submission may be source code, a Git repository, a design file, a prototype, a document, a spreadsheet, a presentation, a test report, a research report, a marketing asset, a creative file, a video or another approved deliverable.

9Review, feedback and revision

Your reviewer checks requirement completion, accuracy, quality, role and domain correctness, completeness, presentation, documentation, attention to detail and compliance with instructions.

Feedback tells you What is correct → What needs improvement → What should be changed.

If changes are needed: the reviewer sends feedback, you review it, make the changes and resubmit, the reviewer checks them, and the task is approved or returned for more revision. Revisions are part of the learning process.

10Blockers and deadlines

Blockers

Tell your mentor about a blocker as soon as you know of it. A blocker report includes:

• Task name
• Problem encountered
• Expected result
• Actual result
• Steps already attempted
• Relevant error messages
• A screenshot or reference, where applicable

The process is Identify → Attempt Reasonable Troubleshooting → Communicate → Receive Guidance → Continue.

Deadlines

Deadlines consider task complexity, your skill level, available working hours, other assigned work, dependencies and project requirements. If you expect a delay, inform your mentor before the deadline wherever reasonably possible. Repeated missed deadlines without communication may be treated as a performance concern.

11Task statuses and closure

A task may be closed when the required deliverables are complete, review comments are addressed, required documentation is complete, the final output is approved and the task status is updated.

12Project tasks and your limits

When you move to project work, tasks are based on actual approved project requirements, not only training exercises. A project task states the project name, task objective, scope, requirements, dependencies, deadline, reviewer and expected deliverable.

You work only within your authorized scope. You must not independently make commitments about client delivery dates, pricing, scope changes, commercial decisions or contractual commitments unless LWDS specifically authorizes it.

13How your tasks are chosen

Your mentor chooses tasks based on your capability, previous performance, learning objectives, the internship duration, your current workload and project requirements. Tasks are a flexible resource, not a fixed curriculum.

Depending on the task, your mentor may assign it to you individually or to a team of interns. Your mentor tells you which when the task is assigned. Either way, you update your own tasks in Sprintly every working day.

14Final principle

Tasks are not just to keep you busy. Every task should help your technical or role-specific skill, practical experience, problem-solving, professional discipline, communication, documentation and project readiness. The progression is Learn → Practice → Apply → Deliver → Improve → Contribute. You take on more responsibility step by step, with guidance and feedback.

The Training, Performance & Completion SOP covers what happens after you join: your training and mentor support, how your progress is monitored and evaluated, how feedback works, and how you complete the internship, receive your certificate and exit. It aims to give you structured guidance, meaningful practical exposure, regular feedback and a clear path to successful completion.

3Your training

3.1 Orientation

Your internship starts with an orientation covering LiveWires Digital Solutions, the internship objectives, your role and responsibilities, the reporting structure, working arrangements, communication channels, attendance expectations, the task workflow, the evaluation process, professional standards and confidentiality requirements.

3.2 Foundation

You are introduced to the knowledge, tools and basic processes your role needs: role fundamentals, relevant software or tools, internal workflows, documentation practices and basic professional practices.

3.3 Guided practice

You do practical exercises or guided assignments under your mentor's supervision. Your mentor gives enough support while encouraging you to understand and do the work independently.

3.4 Readiness

Your mentor checks whether you can:

• Understand assigned requirements
• Use the required tools
• Complete basic tasks
• Communicate blockers
• Follow instructions
• Submit work correctly
• Respond to feedback

When you show enough readiness, you can move to more responsibility or project work.

4Attending training

You are expected to take part in all required training. You should:

• Attend sessions on time.
• Tell the right person if you cannot attend.
• Complete required learning activities.
• Take part in exercises and discussions.
• Apply the feedback you receive.

Participation may be assessed on engagement, consistency, completing learning activities, applying concepts and responding to feedback. Repeated unexplained absence or lack of participation may affect your performance and completion.

5Mentor support

Your mentor is your main point of support. Mentors explain work clearly, guide you, review progress, answer questions, spot learning gaps, give constructive feedback, encourage independent problem-solving and recommend more responsibility when you are ready.

You should communicate clearly and respectfully, ask for clarification when necessary, make a reasonable attempt to understand problems before asking for help, report blockers at the earliest reasonable opportunity and apply the guidance you are given.

6How your progress is monitored

Your progress is monitored through training activities, assigned tasks, task quality, learning progress, attendance, communication, mentor feedback and project participation. Mentors or coordinators may hold weekly progress reviews. The purpose is to spot improvement opportunities early and make sure you get the support you need.

7Moving up task levels

Tasks progress from Foundation → Guided → Independent → Project, according to what you can show. You are not moved up simply because time has passed. The Task Assignment SOP defines the levels, priorities and workflow, and your mentor picks tasks for you.

8Project readiness

You may be ready for project responsibilities when you can reasonably:

• Understand requirements.
• Use relevant tools.
• Follow established workflows.
• Complete appropriately scoped work.
• Communicate blockers.
• Meet reasonable deadlines.
• Respond to review comments.
• Follow confidentiality and access requirements.

Project work may be internal, training, practice or approved client-related. You must stay within your authorized scope and must not commit to client timelines, pricing, scope changes, commercial terms or other business decisions unless LWDS specifically authorizes it.

9How you are evaluated

You are evaluated continuously. The recommended structure is:

Evaluations are based on observed performance and documented evidence wherever practical.

11Feedback and improvement

You get feedback throughout the internship, not only at the end. Your mentor tells you what you are doing well, what needs improvement, what action is required, what standard is expected and when improvement should show.

If concerns continue, the approach is Identify Concern → Discuss → Guide → Set Improvement Expectation → Monitor → Escalate. Concerns may include repeated missed deadlines without communication, poor attendance, unexplained non-availability, repeated low-quality work, failure to follow instructions, failure to improve after feedback, and unprofessional behaviour. Serious confidentiality, security or disciplinary matters are escalated immediately.

12Final evaluation and completion

A final evaluation is completed at the end. It may consider overall task performance, learning and skill development, quality of work, attendance, communication, professional conduct, project participation, initiative and mentor feedback.

You may be eligible for successful completion when you have:

• Completed the required internship duration
• Met the required attendance
• Completed assigned responsibilities
• Taken part in required training
• Had a satisfactory final evaluation
• Maintained professional conduct
• Completed required documentation
• Completed applicable project or task responsibilities
• Cleared company resources

The authorized LWDS representative formally records your final completion status.

13Certificate and completion documents

If you complete the internship successfully, you may receive an Internship Certificate from LiveWires Digital Solutions. Eligibility may depend on completing the internship period, required attendance, satisfactory performance, assigned responsibilities, training participation, professional conduct and exit formalities.

The certificate is issued only after your final status has been reviewed and approved by the authorized representative of LWDS. Any additional internship-related documents are issued only where applicable and approved by the company. The handbook explains how to download your certificate.

14Exit and offboarding

At the end of the internship you should complete the applicable exit requirements:

• Complete pending tasks or provide a proper handover
• Submit required documentation
• Transfer relevant project files
• Update task records
• Return company assets where applicable
• Stop using or hand over company access as instructed
• Complete the final evaluation
• Take part in a final review where required
• Complete applicable clearance procedures

The Internship Coordinator confirms that you have completed the required exit formalities.

15Records kept

LWDS keeps your training records, attendance, learning assignments, task records, review comments, progress records, mentor feedback, performance evaluations, final evaluation, completion status, certificate records, and exit or clearance records. Access is restricted to authorized personnel.

16Final principle

The internship is not simply a fixed period of time. It should help you become a more capable, independent, responsible and professional contributor. Learn → Apply → Improve → Contribute → Complete. Training, tasks, feedback and evaluation work together to give you meaningful practical experience and measurable growth.
